The Book of Nature is a metaphysical analogy which describes nature as a book to be read for
humans to acquire the wisdom of Eternal Truth. The concept originated in the Middle Ages and
revolved around the idea that the phenomenal world is, in essence, the original source of God’s
revelation to mankind.

Nature was originally viewed as a way for man to experience a personal relationship with the
creator through creation itself. By comparing the revelations of scripture with nature’s hidden
truths, embedded in her language of signs and symbols, man could come to know God
personally. God has infused the material world with symbolic meaning, which if understood
correctly by man, reveals higher spiritual truths. Thus, the Book of Nature is the supreme
authority on matters of truth. Not institutions of man’s own creation such as science, religion, or
philosophy.

Natural law is a system of rules based on a close observation of human nature. Values intrinsic
to human nature can be deduced and applied independent of the governmental rule of law.
According to Natural Law Theory, all people have inherent rights, conferred not by act of
legislation but by “God, nature, or reason.” Natural law deems good what is self-evidently good.

Remodeling our understanding of natural law has the capacity to inspire us to re-align our mental models with the impressions each of us receives from the great mirror of creation. From this realization, a comprehensive set of human ethical values arises naturally. Accurately addressing the unique circumstances of our current place in cosmic time.

Culture is an ongoing narrative, a story human social structures tell themselves about who they
are, where they’re going, and ultimately why they exist in the first place. Mother culture, on the
other hand, is a convenient lie, the weaponization of fear rooted in insecurity and loss.
Modern culture is personified as the mother of human civilization because each individual is
born out of it and at the same time perpetuates it, adding to its complexity and grasp on us.

The myths of mother culture are the toxic roots of human civilization. A culture of consumers,
destroying the creations of God and other men at a whim. A seed that has grown to maturity in
the hearts of each man chaperoning millennia of unintended consequences.
In reaction, man has completely forgotten his role in the system of creation and in his confusion
assumed another. Choosing to replace a loving, benevolent creator with himself as the ultimate
judge regarding the value of life. A situation described as man’s collective fall from grace and
recounted in the most sacred of books, The Holy Bible.

When we do not function properly it is often due to beliefs that deviate from reality, rather than
misfiring synapses. In accordance with research in psychology, three underlying reasons for
mental illness have been identified. While mental illness is present, there is either something
toxic in the environment, the information, or the biology of the organism. Biological malfunctions
are the easiest to identify, followed closely by environmental issues.

Detachment from reality constitutes a mass psychosis, a social illness infecting every mind with
cancerous information. Properly functioning human beings readily note that which leads them
toward pain.

Detachment of the human race from our true nature manifests as dis-ease of the mind and body. Problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, obesity, cancer, and many other forms of unnecessary suffering are completely unnatural.

The ego is the part of man that seeks autonomy and individuality by way of worldly interactions.
Through cultivating a relationship with its surroundings, the ego is able to recognize differences
between itself and the objects of perception. Thus, the ego seeks. It seeks the pleasures that
accompany a fleshy existence, the comforts of this world, through control. To eliminate the fear
experienced by the ego is not the same as eliminating the ego.

Man must develop a healthy ego before he can balance his desires with the basic needs of
other men. A sound outer reality manifests as a balanced ego otherwise known as man’s
ego-logical self. The ego-logical self describes the inner workings of the lower faculties of man.
A healthy self is achieved through increased awareness of one’s ability to influence his
environment. This ability is known as self consciousness or self awareness. The fully self aware
person watches their lives unfold as an observer.

The process of harnessing the power of self control is the development of man’s ego-logical
self. With a healthy and balanced ego, man is able to see through differences and contemplate
the hidden connections that deepen the meaning of his life through his experiences. A balanced
ego allows man to reflect on his experience without the delusion of attachment.

As he progresses toward our eventual goal of reunion with the absolute and eternal, man’s
needs evolve with him. The ecological self is a term that accurately describes the phenomenon
of heightened consciousness, manifested as the best possible version of an individual. Through
self consciousness one gains an understanding of his strengths and weaknesses.

To feel the pain of another as one’s own is the ultimate measure of a man’s conscious
awareness. Increased awareness regarding the content of man’s thoughts and actions allows
something completely new to emerge in the form of shared awareness. Shared awareness is
universal and coincides with increases in empathy, the ability to temporarily assume the identity
of another living thing.

Through harnessing our powers, we allow them to grow. Eventually they grow so mighty through
lack of use in the name of domination that they become the secret weapon in our attempts to
reach divinity. The sustenance acquired from the ego is then used to nourish the soul, man’s
inner perfecting principle. When his soul is nourished, man feels no need to exercise his powers
in the name of revenge for some past wrong he has suffered. Man’s forgiveness is his salvation.
For, holding onto anger toward another is like drinking poison and expecting the person you’re
angry with to suffer. It’s unreasonable.

Knowledge is not a product, it results from a process containing three recognizable steps that
must be satisfied to conclude any whole experience. In other words, learning is an active
process that requires participation. Experiences that are not completed and instead are left
open ended, lead to delusion through the acquisition of incomplete or inaccurate
comprehension of a phenomena. Each of the three steps in the process of experience is
specifically designed to satisfy the specialized prerequisites of one of the three brain center
establishing man’s biological architecture.

Knowledge By Participation is the essence of spiritual science. Spiritual Science applies the
scientific method to spirituality. Thus, Knowledge By Participation is spiritual science in practice.
It produces predictable, repeatable results without the need for belief or allegiance to any
outside force. Therefore, man can maintain his allegiance to himself through the will of God.
Knowledge By Participation isn’t a theory of life, it’s the practice of life with the ultimate goal of
uncovering truth through experience. It is the only method that uncovers a state of being that is
both scientific and spiritual.
